Of Mice and Men

How does George feel about letting Candy in on his dream?

No idea what to write here, but I really need help because it's a late assignment and don't want to go to credit recovery. If you could help it would mean a lot. Thank you.

George initially believes that Candy is being nosey and butting into their business. He doesn't want other people to know about their plans. George does, however, change his tune when Candy reveals that he has money to invest in the farm.

I find it fascinating how George's decision to share his dream with Candy reflects deeper themes of loneliness and hope. Do you think this act signifies trust, or is it more about desperation? How does that impact friendships in tough times?
