in the last chapter of the story, steinbeck allows the reader to get a look inside lennies thought process. what does this short scene show the reader about lennie? why is this important given the events taht precede and ensue this scene in the story?

i dont uderstand where this scene happens.

In this scene, we get a look into Lennie's psyche. Through his conversations with the voices in his head, the reader becomes fully aware that even though Lennie feels remorseful for his actions, he has no comprehension of the consequences or repurcussions
