Of Mice and Men is, in essence, a parable that attempts to explain human nature. In the text, Steinbeck paints a picture illustrating the way each man is merely a small part of an enormous universe. As a result, people live their lives, leaving very little behind, even though as individuals, the majority of us strive to find a place of of own, a place we belong....... a home.
