To what extent is Curley’s wife responsible for her own death? List as many reasons as you can as to why she is partly to blame.

Curley's wife can't resist telling Lennie her hair is soft, even after he tells her he killed the puppy because he couldn't stop petting it. Unfortunately, Curley's wife was so desirous of attention that she couldn't take the hint. Her life ended for much the same reason as the puppy's, she asked to be "petted" as it were. None-the-less, Lennie gets too rough, Curley's wife panics..... and in turn, Lennie panics. As a result, Culey's wife loses her life.
