Was there ever a tyre chance lennie and george could achieved their dream? I need three reasons why or why not supported by text in the book

No, I don't think that George and Lennie ever would have realized their dream together. No matter that George did the best he could to take care of Lennie; he coulsn't be with him twenty-four hours a day, and people didn't have help like they do today. When George concedes that Lennie would be institutionalized without him, he wasn't exaggerating. He did the best he could, but I don't believe that it ever would have been good enough to keep the two of them out of trouble.

Another reason...... they needed money, and they couldn't hold down jobs. George was a great worker, and Lennie could do what he was asked as long as he had supervision, but without supervision anything could happen.

Lastly, the women. Lennie was a little boy in a man's body. It is never inferred that he had any physical interest in either the woman from the beginning of the book or Curly's wife, but his actions could have been perceived that way by a woman...... and his reactions to their reactions created situations that could never turn out the right way.
