Why does Curley not like Lennie?

Curley doesn't like Lennie because he is slow. He doesn't understand Lennie and finds his responses inappropriate, thus, he targets him for abuse. Unfortunately for Curley..... Lennie is the stronger of the two. He causes great injury to himself with his incessant bullying.
