why is curley so insecure about his wife in chapter 3 ?
Curley is convinced slim was in the barn with his wife, but slim denies it.

Curley is extremely jealous...... he believes everyone "wants" his wife and is driven to distraction by her behavior. He knows she's a flirt, and he knows she shows up unannounced on the pretext of looking for him.
