Bill Sikes is described as a stoutly-built man in his thirties. He is presented as a vicious housebreaker and thief, who often works with Fagin. Sikes is romantically involved with Nancy, who he mistreats and abuses. In the end, we see how completely ruthless he is when he takes Nancy's life.
