In Iago's soliloquy, what new reasons does he give for hating Othello?
In Act II, Scene I, we learn that Iago despises Othello, but admittedly finds him to be a pleasant, trustworthy, and compassionate. Iago also believes that Othello will make Desdemona a good husband, but his plans for Othello will never allow that to happen.
