some critics dislike the insertion of the roderigo letters. How is it beneficial for roderigos character?
In the letters, Roderigo makes his confession. It is unknown whether he ever intended they be found, but we can infer that in the case of his death, he wished for the truth to be known..... a kind of repentance.
