Othello is convinced that Cassio is cheating with Desdemona. Othello becomes undone. His hyper-masculine view of the world destroys any sense of reason he might have left. He lets rumor and innuendo rule his psyche and his dealings with Desdemona become almost incoherent and blunted by rage.
