How did you feel about how this story ended?

Would you prefer the ending to have been different in any way, or do you feel that the ending was the most effective one for this story? Explain.

Anything would have been preferable to Othello's murder of his wife and his subsequent suicide, but this is a tragedy. The conclusion is effective.
