In Act 5 Scene 2, Does Othello redeem himself by the end of the play? In what way is the audience reminded of the Othello who was presented in Acts One and Two?

Othello's speech, and his assertion that he "loved not wisely but too well," is touching and heart rendering....... driven to murder by a wife he loved too much....... does he redeem himself? I have never found the fifth act a center of redemption for his character. Does he come sympathetic? Maybe too some, but I personally never saw him redeemed by his justification or admittance of his mistakes.
