In Iago's soliloquies in Acts 1 and 2, Iago reveals his plan to destroy Othello. What strategies and steps he has taken so far to achieve his goal?

He convinces Othello to dismiss Cassio after Cassio gets into a fight. He plans to make Othello believe that Desdemona is having an affair with Cassio. He tries to involve Roderigo in his scheme and even engages his wife, ultimately, to pick up a handkerchief to place it in a questionable place to enrage Othello.
