What vision of the created world is presented in Satan's praise of Earth? Does this look more like Ptolomaic or like Copernican model of the universe? What does Satan admire?

Satan lands on Earth in an area we now know as China. There are no living things, no buildings, nothing. Although in the distance, Satan sees a structure and stairs...... along with a gate. This stairway is of course the stairway to Heaven. Funny, at that time the gates of Heaven could be seen from Earth.

Satan moves to the staiway and looks down upon God's creation...... green land, sunshine, hills. He admires their glory, but he is also jealous.
