How does Helen accept her identity and live with what she has been through after the war is over
Good explanation
Good explanation
In my opinion, Helen dealt with her experiences with grace and perseverance. Life in America wasn't ideal, but it was a long way from the concentration camps.... Helen was free. Jobs were difficult to find, as were accomodations. Anti-semitism, unfortunately, continued to be a part of Helen's life. Friends she could confide in.... friends who could understand or had shared her experience were difficult to come by. Helen spent her most of her life exposing the Holocaust..... reminding people and educating them about what happened, how it happened, and how it should never have been forgotten.
