Chapter 7 Summarized

In Chapter Seven, Pax awakens to discover Runt sleeping next to him, but when he tried to make Runt return to his den, Runt invited Pax to play. Pax then gave Runt a toy to distract while, while he went out to explore. Hungry and thirsty, Pax is told where to find water by Gray, after which, Pax decided to go home to look for Peter. Gray asked is he could join Pax, and he questions Pax about the humans living to the south.... how they were reacting to the war. In the chapter's conclusion, they decide to leave to go south that night.
