How is Shelley a revolutionary poet?

Shelley was a student of revolutionaries. He envisioned a "new society" that would be free of tyranny, chaos, and confusion, and his work reflected his own battle against the existing political, social and economic institutions.
The Age of Romanticism bears witness to the French Revolution, the ideals of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. It stood for the natural rights of man and a complete abolition of class distinctions. In terms of Shelley's poems, there are a number of titles that reflect the "revolutionary poet", these titles include, The Revolt of Islam, Prometheus Unbound, Queen Mab and Ode to the West Wind.
