After Anoosh’s death, God comes to visit Marji and she yells at him, telling him to “get out of {her} life”. This is because she feels that God should have been able to save Anoosh, as well as the fact that the new regime is supposed to be a religious one, so technically in her eyes, God is the one who killed Anoosh.
