None-the-less, if you really look at his words, there is also pride in his family and a note about the loss of his wife. From this, we might also infer that Sir Walter is a bit sentimental, in addtion, to being most accurate. None-the-less, his final addition speaks to his title, place in society, and inheritance...... these are the things that seem to be most important to him.
