Pride and Prejudice
What do you think of the lack of description in pride and prejudice?
I have read in one of the websites, cliffnotes.com, that in Pride and Prejudice there is a lack of description. This is because Austen hasn't described what the characters ate, how they dressed and other simple everday-life details. What effect, do you think, this has on the reader and on the understanding of the overall plot that was set in an era of time very different than modern days.
