Mr Bennet is picking on his wife for her endless desire to marry off her girls. This is a form of teasing, and it seems as if Mrs Bennet understands this.
"They have none of them much to recommend them," replied he; "they are all silly and ignorant like other girls; but Lizzy has something more of quickness than her sisters."
"Mr. Bennet, how can you abuse your own children in such way?
You take delight in vexing me. You have no compassion on my poor nerves."
"You mistake me, my dear. I have a high respect for your nerves. They are my old friends. I have heard you mention them with consideration these twenty years at least."

These words are spoken by Mrs Bennet to her husband. Mrs bennet insists her husband to in and make an acquaintance with Mr Bingley so that of their daughters could be married with him. Bennet does not show any positive response to her and uses the words that seen to tease his wife and daughters. Mrs Bennet feels distressed on her husband's poor response that is why she says, "You take delight in vexing me. You have on compassion on my poor nerves."
