Describe Higgins' and Pickering's reactions to the party. What do both of them fail to do?

They are very pleased with how Eliza behaves and how she completely fools the translator, Neppomuck.  However, they forget to compliment her and they take all the credit rather than congratulating Eliza and her splendid behavior.
