Pygmalion

In Act 5, Higgins states, "The great secret, Eliza, is not having bad manners or good manners or any other particular sort of manners, but having the same manners for all human souls:..." How does this statement help the reader understand Higgins better?

Please, at least three sentences in which you describe how he treats people according to this philosophy. It would be greatly appreciated.

Higgins is stating that all people, regardless of class, should be treated with the same civility of manners. Higgins ironically does treat people the same in that he is blunt and often rude to everyone.
