Are you looking for textual evidence, or are you looking for what I believe I might find in the wardrobe. Her clothes are still there, and her dressing table is exactly the way she left it...... even her nightgown has remained on her bed.

evening dresses wrapped in white bags, the narrator sees shimmering silver, gold brocade, and wine colored velvet. She sees a train (white, possibly from a bridal gown), and an ostrich feather probably used as an accessory. The silver and gold are also described as tarnished...... the aroma of the clothing and the scent used to keep them fresh was stale. (Page 170)
