What are the Gothic elements in the novel?

The presence of Rebecca seems to be everywhere. The poor narrator is so smothered by Rebecca's memory; she doesn't even get a name. There is the housekeeper with her creepy shrine room to Rebecca. The house is a mansion seemingly in the middle of nowhere (yes, no one can hear you scream!!!). We also can't forget when the narrator actually dresses and looks like Rebecca at the ball. All the author needed was one of those gargoyle door knockers and it would have been perfect!
