Stacey has little to do with Mr. Morrison because he is jealous.... he thinks Mr. Morrison's presence means that his father doesn't trust him to take care of the land and the family, even if he really knows he couldn't.
Stacey looked away from me. “Don’t need him here. All that work he doing, I could’ve done it myself.”
