Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry

Why is it written in the perspective of a child?

I need three reasons if possible!

I have that is shows her innocence and drives the message of the unfairness home, but what are the others..? Thanks!

You are correct with the first two. They are big ones. Innocence of a child brings a sincerity to the narration that an adult could not bring. Cassie has a fiery personality which keeps her narration interesting. So, it is not only the fact that she is a child but that she has an interesting personality that keeps the story moving. Also Cassie's naïveté about racism gives us a perspective about how ugly it is, especially when inflicted on a child.
