Describe and explain how Juliet's death by dagger differs from Romeo's death by poison.

Aside from the obvious differences between death by poison and death by dagger, there are symbolic differences to consider. Juliet's death is more violent than Romeo's death. Her death involves impalement which has sexual connotations (I won't get into them here). Juliet's death involves a communion of sorts. Also Romeo and Juliet's deaths reflect their personalities. Juliet is more dramatic while Romeo tends to be dramatic in a subdued sense.
