The foreshadowing is pretty clear in the play. The lines containing foreshadowing are have enough impact to clue the audience into what might happen. This is not a bad thing considering the play's flow and passion. In Act 1 sc 4, for example, Romeo says: I fear too early, for my mind misgives. Some consequence yet hanging in the stars. Shall bitterly begin his fearful date. The audience is ready for something major to happen at the Capulet party. This flow of passion is most effective.
