How does capulet feel about his daughter?

He certainly values his daughter and is cautious about letting her marry so early,

My child is yet a stranger in the world.
She hath not seen the change of fourteen years.

We get the sense, however, that he values Juliet only as far as she obeys him. Capulet quickly relents to Paris's request saying he can woo her at the party. The subtext really means that Capulet expects his daughter to be interested in young Paris.
