Without revenge you would not have the full spectrum of emotions that Shakespeare is so famous for. Revenge brings about another side of Romeo that is in conflict with his "love" infatuated persona. Romeo's revenge on Tybalt moves the narrative forward towards tragedy.

I'm not following your question here. There is revenge in the story. Romeo kills Tybalt over Mercutio. Are you asking what the story would be like if there was no revenge in it?
