Romeo and Juliet

In Romeo and Juliet act 2 scene 5, what was Shakspeare’s purpose in writing a play with such opposing views of sexuality and love

In the scene, the nurse uses sexual jokes in comparison to Juliet’s images of love. What was Shakespeare’s purpose in writing a play with such opposing views of sexuality and love?

In my opinion, Shakespeare is contrasting the young and innocent, all encompassing feelings of first love with the more jaded views of the nurse. Juliet cannot see beyond her love and passion..... Nurse, however, even though drawn in by Juliet's feelings, understands how fleeting young love can be. Her views are jaded, likely through personal experience..... and the loss of a child.
