The Nurse enters and warns that Lady Capulet is approaching Juliet's room. Romeo hurries down the rope ladder. Juliet thinks it looks like he is descending into a tomb. To R and J, reality is interfering with their love. This foreshadows their fate later on. There is plenty of dark and light imagery if you scan the text.
