What did Romeo and Juliet think about love and marriage?

They accepted the romantic status quo of "happily ever after". Although they were aware of the dangers of marrying each other, they their felt that "love" is the most important aspect in life. They are impulsive and, like many teenagers, have little idea of the consequences of rash decisions.
