What does Romeo mean when he says, "Peace, peace, Mercutio, Thou talks of nothing?"

Mercutio has just given a passionate angst ridden speech about love and sex. We can clearly see Mercutio is tormented inside and he works himself up to an almost wild state. Romeo tries to calm him down. I don't think Romeo understands Mercutio's own frustrations with love.
