why do paris and juliet go to friar. L cell at the beginning of act iv? what happens?

Juliet has come to ask thew friar for help with her love of Romeo. She tells Paris she is praying though,

"It may be so, for it is not mine own.

Are you at leisure, holy father, now;

Or shall I come to you at evening mass?"

Paris has come to see the fFriar about marrying Juliet.

Juliet gets rid of Paris telling him she has some serious praying to do.
