Why does Juliet tell Romeo not to “swear by the moon”?

Juliet tells Romeo not to swear by the moon because the moon in always changing. She doesn't want him to be changeable like the moon.

O, swear not by the moon, th' inconstant moon, That monthly changes in her circle orb, Lest that thy love prove likewise variable.
