Why does Paris tell friar Lawrence he has not talked to Juliet about love?

Actually, I think that you are referring to Paris talking to Father Capulet. Juliet is crying for dead Tybalt and, particularly, the banishment of her Romeo. Paris says that he has not had access to Juliet and occasion to woo her in times of sadness.
