It has become clear in chapter 1-9, that drums are an important part of Mandinka culture. Describe at least one instance in chapter 1-9, that shows drums were important to the culture.

Drums are used to call the medicine man to their village (communication), and to drive out evil spirits (magic). In Chapter Eleven, drums are used at the harvest festival (celebration).
