Why does Charlie decide to quit running for Squizzy?

Charlie is bothered by what happened to Norman and violence in general. Charlie tries to tell Squizzy Taylor about what happened to Norman, but Squizzy Taylor says he doesn’t give a rat’s ass about Norman. Charlie doesn't want to be a part of this anymore.
