How do you make a sonnet and the IAMBIC PENTAMETER?

I undestand nothing of poems, how to make peoms, sonnets and iambic pentameter thingys. I hate peoms and poem related things so please bear with me. Also this is related to the Shakespeare poetry and sonnets. I have to make my own sonnet with the iambic pentameter but I really need help.
