Why does Ab Snopes burn barns? Do you think his actions are justified? Explain your reasoning?

Snopes burns barns as a punishment to those he believes have slighted him. His actions force his family to move multiple times, and yet he never changed his ways and felt justified in all of the hateful acts he performed. In addition to burning barns, Snopes also beat his family, stole, cheated and destroyed. There was no real justification for anything he did.
