How do you believe Siddhartha would feel about the way that Buddhism has developed over time?

I think he would approve of Buddhism in the classic Eastern Tradition. The discipline and simple ascetic existence is in the lives of Buddhist Monks is in line with the book. I'm not sure what Siddhartha would say about new age Buddhism and spirituality which lacks the discipline and sacrifice of traditional Buddhism.
