When Siddhartha is with the Samanas, he gives his clothes to a poor Brahmin on the street. He only keeps his loin cloth and an old cloak, eats once a day, and never cooks food. Then he becomes skinny and unclean while he wants to let happiness and sorrow out of his mind. Everything around him seems not true and able to fail.
