I'm not sure which section of the script you're referring to, but Don was quite put off by the following:
Why bother to shoot this?
Release the old one under a new title.
You've seen one, you've seen them all. -
Why'd you say that? - What's the matter?
That's what that Kathy Selden said to me that night.
