Guilt and blame in what capacity? Melinda is blamed for the repurcussions of her rape..... and no one even bother to ask her what happened. Do we place blame on Melinda's friends for not being friends? Do we blame Melinda for not speaking out? Do we blame her parents for missing so many signs?

Guilt might be looked at the same way. We know Andy is guilty. We know Melinda is guilty of the big bust as the party.... but is she really guilty of anything other than putting herself in a bad situation?

Some people might say Melinda's rape was her own fault...... that she was to blame for what happened. Does Melinda's being in the room with Andy make her guilty of complicity? Is there any point at which the word no can or should be misconstrued?
