Why did a Heather get model job?

Heather lands a modeling job at a local department store. It seems the camera guy thinks she's "sexy". As Heather gets into the shoot, the cameraman begins saying, “Sexy, sexy, very cute. Look this way. Sexy, think beach, think boys.” It makes Melinda uncomfortable. Yes, it's rather creepy.
