Beginning through Wednesday, August 23rd

Paul is shocked by the fact that the landscape is flat and filled with miles and miles of green fields..... crops of tomatoes, onions, and watermelons. He expected to see beaches and high rise condos. He was also surprised by the lack of citrus trees, particularly tangerines...... and the fact that the groves that exisred were being burned to clear land.
