why doesn't Paul to his parents about the terrible things he sees Erik do
why doesn't Paul to his parents about the terrible things he sees Erik do
Mr. and Mrs. Fisher refuse to see Erik's negative attributes..... for them, it's simply "not our son". Rather than correct Erik or discuss his actions, they allow them to slide. They never confront him, and up until the end..... he can do no wrong. It's not that they can't see, it's that they refuse to see. Paul doesn't say anything because he knows what their reaction will be..... and he knows that if he does, Erik will punish him.
